Stripper mom’s mistake costs 2 year old daughter her life, according to the NY Daily News.
Mother Leila Aquino, 20, came home to find her apartment in Brooklyn had caught fire the previous night.The fire had made its way through Monroe St. building in Bushwick before finally being put out at 7:30AM, according to police sources. Aquino’s daughter, Kaleenah Muldrow, was not initially found by firefighters, until she came home at 9:30am yelling for her child.
It was then discovered that in an attempt to hide from the flames, Muldrow hid under her bed where the flames eventually caught up to her. Aquino is being charged with endangering the welfare of a child as well as reckless endangerment.
The cause of the fire has yet to be uncovered.
